| | The Prerequisites at your End: |

| |  | EU Citizenship or in Norway or Switzerland, otherwise the bureaucratic hurdles can be fairly difficult to pass. |
| |  | Specialist diploma in Urology if you are looking for a senior position. |
| |  | If you are looking to begin or continue your education in general practise in Germany: at least a final medical university exam. However, it will be easier to find a job if you have already gained some clinical experience in your home country. |
| |  | A B2 language diploma from the Goethe-Institute, preferably level C1 as most hospitals will prefer candidates with better language skills. |
| | |
| | What salary can you expect in Germany? Answer: around 6000-8000 Euros gross salary as a "Facharzt" (specialist), around 4000-5000 Euro gross salary as a junior doctor pursuing his or her education. |
